In addition to my previous article, here is the step-by-step process of PSA Application via online.
First, go to https://nsohelpline.com
Click "Order Now"
Thru this site, you can order these four documents online:
► Birth Certificate
► Marriage Certificate
► Death Certificate
► CENOMAR or Certificate of Singleness
Once you select Birth Certificate, you will be asked to choose the purpose of your order.
Based on the example, the birth certificate is needed for school requirement.
Once selected, the screen will proceed to the main part which is the application form.
*Fill-up all fields as all of them are required.
Take Note: Make sure to enter the CORRECT information as any errors could result to delay.
Once done, you will be asked if your birth certificate have undergone any of the following:
► Correction of entry, Court Hearings, Legitimation, Supplemental, Adoption or just choose "None" if yours didn't undergone any of these.
In the next screen, you will be asked who is the requesting person.
If you are underage or will not be at home to receive the document, then choose any of the following list of relatives, very often its the owner or the parents.
*Brothers / Sisters are not illegible to receive the document.
Once selected, click "Submit".
After this, the "Checkout" screen will be displayed. This shows all the information you've entered in the application form.
Then, fill-up the information on:
►Contact info
►Delivery Address
►Authorize Representative (Make sure to print the LOA)
*Again, make sure to enter the CORRECT information as any errors could result to delay. You might as well add landmarks to your delivery address for better tracking on the courier's side.
If you want more than one copy, just change the number of copies to the desired quantity on the "Checkout Summary" field in bottom right corner off the screen.
Don't forget to click "Preview/Print LOA" on the lower side of authorize representative fields. This is important if the owner of the document won't be able to receive the order. This letter of authorization will be presented together with the IDs of the requestor and the representative upon the couriers door-to-door delivery.

Then going back to the Checkout screen, once done, click "Continue".
This will proceed to the "Order Confirmation" screen, verify and check if all information you've entered are correct and complete.
Scroll down to choose your payment method.
There are two payment channels to choose from either Online or Over-the-counter.
Online Payment via:
►mastercard/visa
►BancNet Online
►GCash
Over-the-counter via:
►Metrobank
►Security Bank
►Bayad Center
►7Eleven ECpay
►BancNet ATM
For below example, the payment method selected was 7Eleven ECpay.
Take Note: The Reference number for your payment method is the same as your reference number for status checking.
You can check/print the Payment Instructions & the Delivery Reminders for detailed information and to avoid confusion.
An email confirmation will be sent to the email address which you've indicated in the contact info field at the Checkout screen. See sample below:
To check your order status, go to https://nsohelpline.com/check-status
Enter the reference number then submit.
For below example, the payment thru 7Eleven ECpay was paid on the same day as the order date.
Take Note: Once the status changes to "Submitted to NSO for processing" it means its already paid and ongoing for process.
