My site isn't on Google!
How can I get my website on Google Search?
Ownership verification?
For first timers just like me, who don't have such technical background in creating websites, I must say in this era, creating one is getting easier thru different website-creating and customization platforms. Out of curiosity & excitement, I've created one on wixsite, then got fascinated and became two, now three. But challenges sure are part of the routine and a particular essential question is how to get found on Google?
My wixsites are not upgraded webs. Therefore, they don't have their own domain and their URLs have path (blogtrove.wixsite.com/promopamore) since they exist as subdomains of wixsite, Thus, they don't have the luxury for tools like Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel. Still, published wixsites are bound to appear on Google Search... its just a matter on time.
Utmost these are two possible options/scenarios:
1. For Wix users, It is Important to note that:
After publishing, it can take up to 3 months for your site to be crawled/indexed and appear in search engine results. If your site hasn't been indexed, it might be because the search engine has not reached your site yet. Any edits or changes to your site must be crawled again before they appear.
2. Or you can help speed up this process by submitting your sitemap directly to Google, an effective way thru "Google Search Console".
Google Search Console is a free service offered by Google that helps you monitor and maintain your site's presence in Google Search results. You don't have to sign up for Search Console for your site to be included in Google's search results, but doing so can help you understand how Google views your site and optimize its performance in search results.

Monitor your site's performance in Google Search results:
Make sure that Google can access your content
Submit new content for crawling and remove content you don't want shown in search results
Create and monitor content that delivers visually engaging search results
Maintain your site with minimal disruption to search performance

To get started, here are the detailed steps on how to get your Wixsite Appear on Google Using HTML Meta Tag
1. First, search "Google Search Console" or access the link: https://search.google.com/search-console/about
And you'll need to sign-in to your Google Account, your preferred gmail to manage your website.
2. Add/Submit your website URL
Options to verify ownership will be listed.
3. Choose via HTML Meta Tag.
Why choose HTML Meta Tag?
Because the rest requires domain name / upgraded accounts
4. Copy the unique meta tag then go to your wixsite.
5. In your Wixsite, go to Settings Tab.
6. Setting > Social Share > SEO
7. On Advance SEO Setting, Add (Paste) the copied Meta tag on the box provided.
8. Then, "Publish"
9. Go back to Google Search Console, and click "Verify".

10. Finally, your website ownership have been successfully verified.
It took 6 days for my wixsites to appear on Google Search.
